Overview
The DSP-1281 is the DSP-1280 with Dante on board: the same twelve mic/line inputs and eight balanced outputs, plus 32 channels in and 32 out over the audio network at up to 24-bit 48 kHz. That is how you add inputs without adding a second rack — link units over Dante and the channel count grows. An AES67 compatibility mode covers interoperating with non-Dante equipment; Crestron notes it may need a Dante firmware upgrade.
