What matters when choosing is the channel count against the room, not the prefix. A well-specified AVR in a media room outperforms an over-specified AVC in a room that cannot take the extra speakers.

How many channels do I actually need?
- Count the speaker positions the room can take before counting channels. A room with one row of seating, a flat ceiling and no side-wall depth supports a different layout from a dedicated cinema. A receiver bought for channels the room cannot host is money spent on unused terminals. Leading IT works it out from the room drawing.
Does Leading IT calibrate the receiver after installation?
