Overview
Long HDMI runs are where 8K falls over. Precision 48 is an active optic copper cable with integrated circuits in the connector that keep the signal inside spec at 10 m, 15 m and 30 m — HDMI 2.1 at 8K/60 and 4K/120, with 10-, 12- and 16-bit colour and eARC. The construction resists EMI and RFI, which matters in a riser shared with mains and lighting circuits. It is certified Ultra High Speed by HDMI Licensing rather than only rated by the manufacturer.
